Marvel Comics has revealed its latest ongoing Star Wars series. Dubbed Star Wars: Jedi Knights, the series will explore the heroes of the Jedi Order in the period before The Phantom Menace.The news came during Lucasfilm Publishing's "Star Wars: Stories From a Galaxy Far, Far Away" panel at NYCC. Netflix has quietly acknowledged that last year's entertainment writer and actor strikes made an impact on the number of shows and films it was able to put out last year. But it's also promising that the slump in releases is almost over. In today's Q3 earnings release, the shareholder letter from the company included the line, "Our 2024 programming has been patchier than normal due to last year’s strikes. Japanese game company Bandai Namco is reportedly sending staff to “expulsion rooms” where they have nothing to do after a number of projects were canceled, including one said to be for Nintendo.Bloomberg reported that Bandai Namco, which publishes the multi-million selling Elden Ring, Tekken 8, and, most recently, the three million-selling Dragon Ball: Sparking!
